Michael von Roeder is an entrepreneur and executive. exigo capital has been his vehicle since 2011: he builds his own projects here, invests, advises as senior advisor, and sits on supervisory boards. Investments include Paretos (agentic decision intelligence) and CyberDesk (identity-centric data security), among others. Focus: agentic AI in enterprises and the security of critical infrastructure.

Until December 2025, six years as Group CDO & CIO at Elia Group SA in Brussels and CDIO at 50Hertz Transmission in Berlin, additionally Chief AI Officer of the group from 2025. Before that, CEO and board member at Sensorberg, group COO of the iconmobile group, Head of Global User Experience at Vodafone, and earlier IT and technology-strategy consulting at Accenture. Stuttgart roots in software development; based in Berlin.
