Fabian König

Fabian König is an Investment Manager at PT1. With a background spanning finance, data science, and human-centered design, he combines analytical rigor with a strong understanding of how technology is reshaping the built environment.

Prior to joining PT1 in 2022, Fabian gained entrepreneurial and operational experience across startups and technology-driven organizations. He co-founded Plaza, an early-stage startup from London, and previously served as Head of Finance and Business Development at wysker, one of Germany’s first venture-funded crypto startups. Earlier in his career, he also completed the Full Stack Web Development Bootcamp at SPICED Academy in Berlin, strengthening his technical capabilities.

Fabian holds an M.Sc. in Finance, Technology and Policy from the University of Edinburgh, where he graduated top of his class, and a B.Sc. in Business Administration from Freie Universität Berlin.

At PT1, Fabian leads the firm’s activities around Electrification. In this role, he organizes industry roundtable events, regularly attends energy-focused conferences across Europe, and contributes thought leadership through articles on the topic. In addition to his investment work, he also supports the development of PT1’s internal technology stack and data-driven deal sourcing.

Outside of work, Fabian is a passionate art collector, with a particular interest in supporting emerging artists from Berlin. He also enjoys traveling and regularly lifts weights at his weekly CrossFit classes.
